JMB advises on acquisition of Power Engineering Services

John Barker has advised Triton Project Solutions on its acquisition of Power Engineering Services, a leading supplier of high-voltage electrical engineering services, specialising in the production, refurbishment, installation, and maintenance of transformers, switchgear, and substation equipment.
Triton Project Solutions, based in Wetherby, provides electrical, joinery, and structural services for both temporary and permanent applications.
The acquisition will align both businesses under the newly formed Triton Project Group Holdings company.
John Barker, advised Triton Project Solutions on the corporate and commercial aspects of the deal.

Ben Whitaker, who began his career at PES as an apprentice at 17, brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the business. Over a seven-year period he progressed through various senior roles within the contracting arm of a distribution network operator and later held key positions at a leading independent connection provider and EPC contractor. He said: "Having started here as an apprentice at 17, I have seen first-hand the dedication and hard work that have built this company. This acquisition not only ensures the stability and continuity of our operations, but also allows us to expand our capabilities while continuing to provide the excellent service our customers expect.
